Summer garden

It’s hard to imagine summer when the wind is howling around the house! This image is helping though – just picture the scene, smell the lavenderish smell of the purple nepetas mixed with the scent of honeysuckle on the arches. The bees are buzzing among the flowers and other pollinator insects and butterflies and the footpath is warm underfoot. The only things missing are a couple of wrought iron chairs and small table with a cool gin and tonic and a friend to chat to in the sun, just in front of the door to the next part of the garden!
